Happy Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras is now, officially over.

One more year that The Blog has not crossed attending the festivities in New Orleans off the bucket list.

Maybe next year.

Parties have been partied.

Hurricanes have been consumed.

Parades have paraded.

Tits have been flashed in exchange for beads from Party City.

So, The Blog's tribute to Fat Tuesday is a little bit late.

So is my mortgage payment.

But, as I told Wells Fargo...

"Sue me."
In belated honor of The Big Easy's favorite holiday..

Take a minute or two to enjoy one of The PC's favorite bands that few have heard of...

The Friendly Indians tribute to N'awleans...

"Fat Tuesday."

A bit of trivia, if you care...

The Friendly Indians front man is TV writer and creator of one of The Blog's favorite shows, "Psych," Steve Franks.

As I have mentioned in this space before, they perform the show's theme song...

"I Know, You Know."

But, wait! There's more!

The band's name, "The Friendly Indians," isn't just a bit of tongue in cheek political incorrectness, like Shawn Spencer enjoys.

No.

Steve's unnamed, Orange County based band, played their first paying gig on Disneyland's "Tom Sawyer Island."

The band's name is a nod to the animatronic tableau on the backside of the island.

As seen from The Magic Kingdom's train, "friendly indians" wave "hello."
