A Correction and a Couple of Updates

First, a CORRECTION...

On my NYE post, I said that the government was shut down for "over a month."

Turns out, it was only 16 days.

It just felt longer.

*End Correction*

Now, a couple of updates to last night's post...

First (and most importantly)...

As I mentioned last night The Stephanie Miller Show will air on Free Speech TV.

But, for those of us who listen to her on our drive into work and don't need the visual distraction of a video feed...

Her show can be heard from a variety of sources on your smart phone or tablet.

Download (if you haven't already) the Stephanie Miller app, the Progressive Voices app, the TuneIn Radio app or the Stitcher app.

Or, go straight to the source...

StephanieMiller.com/listen-live/

Links to several radio station's sites can be found there.

                                             _______________________________

The thing that galls me about accessing Randi Rhodes on the "I <3 Radio" app is the fact that "I <3 Radio" is owned by Clear Channel. The same communications megalith that  decided to turn KTLK into a right-wing station.
                                               ________________________________

Finally...

As of today...

The radio station call letters...

                                                                               KTLK

No longer exist.

It wasn't enough that Clear Channel spent the last month spitting in the faces of KTLK listeners by advertising the new, right-wing format's name change...

And it's new catch phrase,
"True American Values."
Clear Channel has changed the stations call letters.

Perhaps as a means to exorcise any last trace of liberal demons from the station.

Or, more likely, as a great big, sloppy rim job to the wide, cystic rectum of it's new, centerpiece personality, to presumably, assuage the probable butt-hurt that resulted from down-grading him from the more powerful KFI...

Los Angeles' AM 1150 will now be known by the call letters, "KEIB."

In honor of El Rushbo's inane claim of...

                                                         "Excellence in Broadcasting."

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit, again.
