Hope is not Lost

Attention:

                                                                           Lindsay,

                                                                             Justin,

                                                                            Amanda,

                                                                             Miley,

...etc.

There is still hope for your futures.

If you can find it in yourselves to follow in the footsteps of the original, young Hollywood train wreck...

                                                                Robert Downey , Jr.

Back in the day, RB,Jr found himself waking up in stranger's living rooms.

When David E. Kelly took a huge chance and cast Downey for his TV show "Ally McBeal," which was filmed at a studio mere blocks from Casa de Blog...

Not Robert Downey, Jr. but, more mature.

The PC quipped, "Lock your doors."

Robert collected his shit, and pulled himself out from his downward spiral.

Robert had been an epic disaster.

But..

20 years later...

                                                          He has achieved awesomeness.

                                                                Serious awesomeness.

Lindsay and Miley, The Blog has known you both since you were kids. I love you and keep hoping for the best for you both.

Amanda, The Blog has never met you, but I have been a fan for years. You were, hands down, the most talented kid on Nickelodeon™ when The Blog, Jr. was a fan. So I am pulling for you.

Justin, or, if I may, "Beibs," I don't know you. I have no emotional investment in you. It is entirely possible that you are doomed to be a perpetual, 13-year-old douchebag. The PC's observation of the stunted maturity of people who get famous at a young age suggests that the odds are not good for you. But, that is up to you. You will have to make an effort to grow up.

You may never be this awesome.

But you could be.

It's all up to you.
